1. What kind of works do we want?
This group was created with the porpose of collecting Chibi/Super Deformed art.
The main aspect of chibi is that they are small and chubby characters with stubby limbs and oversized heads, in a way resembling small children. Besides that, you must also respect the proportions required.

2. What proportions must my drawing have to be accepted?
We accept drawings with 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 heads high ratios.
Meaning 1:1 scaled drawings have the total size of 2 heads, 1:2 drawings have the total size of 3 heads and 1:3 have the total size of 4 heads.
We sometimes accept drawings that are a little over the 1:4 scale, but not always!

3. Can I be a member?
Yes, everyone can be a member as long as you like and/or draw Chibi art. Don't write a message while joining because request are automatically approved.

4. Can I be a contributor?
There will be a separate journal made when we are looking for new staff members.

5. Who decides if my deviation is accepted?
When you submit a deviation to the group that deviation then goes through a voting process with Chibi-Fans' staff members.

6. How do I know if and why my submission was declined?
When you submit your deviation you get a Correspondence Message in which you will see if the deviation was either accepted or declined. If it was declined, a staff member should leave a message on that Correspondence message as to why it was declined.

7. How is my deviation judged?
Submissions are judged not only for their chibi proportions but also for their quality.

8. How many deviations can I submit?
Every member can only submit 1 deviation a week. Chose carefully your submissions: submit the works you're more proud of. This way you also have more chances to have your work approved.

9. How do I know which folder to submit to?
Read this entry: chibi-fans.deviantart.com/blog… .

10. My submission request expired, what can I do?
You can resubmit it.

11. My submission has been waiting for approval for days, is that declined?
No.
If declined, you'll see a "declined" sign. If your submission is not decided in a week it will expire and you can resubmit it.

12. I'm receiving tons of chibis from this group! Do I have to leave it to stop receiving the group's submissions in my DevWatch?
You don't need to leave the group, you can unwatch deviations and come to check our galleries when you feel like it. You can unwatch the group by clicking on the small triangle top left of Chibi-Fans deviation stack or from your friend list.
Please do not unwatch journals because we publish important informations about submissions or contests.
